Barchart.com's Advanced Equities Subscription Service (AES) contains numerous features that are not available on the free website. This online User Guide groups AES features according to their location within the Barchart.com site.

My Quotes Tab:

Chart Builder --  This feature allows you to create your own book of charts for convenient one-click access. Chart Builder has the same features as Custom Charts (available on the free website) with the added ability to arrange lists of charts, create and apply custom chart styles, open all charts in separate browser windows at one time, and more.

Create Custom Charts -- each chart is named for easy reference, allowing you to retrieve it with one click using the Chart View List.

Chart View List

  1. Open the My Quotes tab.
  2. Choose Chart Builder (found under Custom Tools in the left navigation bar).
  3. Click Create Custom Chart (found at the top of the screen).
  4. Fill in the chart form, making sure you give the chart a unique name. (The Chart Name is entered in the field located in the green area within the form.)
  5. Click Save Chart (found in the green area within the form). The chart is added to the Action Menu, found in the left navigation bar.
