AgriCharts and AgTrax Offer Real-Time Commodity Accounting Solutions to Agribusinesses

CHICAGO, IL and HUTCHINSON, KS – July 9, 2009 – AgriCharts, the agricultural division of Barchart.com, Inc., which provides market data, website hosting and technology solutions to agribusinesses, today announced an initiative with AgTrax Technologies, the leading provider of agricultural software in the Midwest.  Through their newly formed relationship, grain elevators, co-ops and other agribusinesses which use AgTrax Technologies’ Commodity Accounting software can receive automatic updates of real-time market data for commodity prices including corn, soybeans and wheat to perform price sensitive grain accounting.  The real-time market data originates from AgriCharts and is seamlessly integrated into AgTrax Technologies’ software. 

With the availability of real-time market data agribusinesses will benefit from the ability to perform critical accounting functions using the latest commodity prices.  This enhancement improves risk management performance, accuracy and overall efficiency for agribusinesses as the market data is automatically updated within the software.  AgriCharts also provides automatic feeds of delayed and end-of-day market data as options.
